Introductory Remarks on the First 2004 MCLE Lecture Series

ChanRobles LawNet, Inc. is an MCLE Provider duly accredited by the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Committee of the Supreme Court of the Philippines.

As part of its program for this year and as a LAST CHANCE to ALL PRACTICING LAWYERS* to comply with the 36 credit units for the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Program mandated by BAR Matter No. 850 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations for the first compliance period, that is, from April 15, 2001 to April 14, 2004, the Chanrobles LawNet, Inc. is slated to conduct a series of MCLE Seminars from March 12, 2004 to March 27, 2004 at Ballroom II (previously Antipolo Room), Valle Verde Country Club, Inc., (beside PSC Complex [Formerly ULTRA]) Capt. ..........The registration fee for the entire 36-unit MCLE Program is P8,000.00 regardless of the actual attendance in the sessions and shall cover, among others, the cost of the hand-outs, certificate of attendance and meals. Deadline for the registration and payment for the 36-unit MCLE Program is on 05 March 2004. Registration fee on a per subject basis is P300.00 per credit unit and shall be accepted only if registration and payment therefor are made on or before 05 March 2004.Thereafter, registration on a per subject basis will only be entertained depending on the availability of slots.

* Bar Matter No. 850 and its implementing rules provide, among others, that failure to comply with the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) 36-uni requirement at the end of the compliance period shall be a cause for listing a lawyer as a delinquent member and consequently, he shall not be permitted to practice law.
